With the holiday season now upon us, our family would like to wish all a safe and warm Christmas and New Year’s. Corn is still being hauled to ADM’s processing plant in Decatur, and we anitcipate hauling seed beans from storage to the Monsanto plant in Stonington in the coming weeks. I have attached a few pictures of the current trucking activities. We started hauling grain out of our new bin, which allowed us to utilize the side discharge. Roughly 1/3 of the bin’s capacity (25,000-30,000 bushels) was unloaded through the chute using gravity. The remainer of the grain is exiting through a augur.
