What a difference in weather from last spring! Due to the rain last year, we finished planting corn a month and a half after we began… 10 da
ys for this year’s corn crop! Although we have logged long hours recently, we are thrilled at the opportunity to plant corn without weather interruptions. Soil conditions are currently a little dry, but rain is forecasted for this weekend. Prior to planting our corn, we applied liquid fertilizer and herbicide to the ground’s surface with our sprayer. We were fortunate to not experience any major breakdowns in our planting and spraying operations this year. Although we experienced minor trials and tribulations along the way, we are light-years ahead of last spring!
